Sony has started rolling out the June 2020 security patch update for the Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Xperia XZ3 and the Xperia 10 series smartphone users.
Last year’s flagship Sony Xperia 1 and the mid-range model Xperia 5 are supplied with the firmware update 55.1.A.9.21. The Sony Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus also get an update, here version 52.1.A.3.20.
And the Sony Xperia XZ3 is also up to date again, for the model the update 52.1.A.3.20 will be distributed.
Sony distributes June 2020 patch
So far there are no signs that the update is also available for the Sony Xperia XZ2 series (Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ2 Premium). But this should change in the next few days.
Unfortunately, Sony does not publish a changelog for its updates. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to say whether other changes or improvements will be made to the devices in addition to the current security guidelines.
