X social media leader Elon Musk has recently purchased Twitter at a decent amount price. After taking a lead on its X platform, the company is now rapidly integrating new changes and features for its users.

The micro-blogging social media platform is now looking to introduce a new video and audio call feature similar to Whatsapp. On behalf of new changes arrival, the CEO Linda Yaccarino said in an interview with CNBC that while the payment feature is still in development, video calling support is coming soon to the platform. During the interview with CNBC, X Corp. CEO Linda Yaccarino said that the company is currently working on introducing new features in the bid to make X the Everything app for its users.

She then confirmed that the video calling feature on X will not require users to provide their phone numbers. This is similar to Meta’s social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, which use the account name and IP to make video calls.
