The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will have a 19.3:9 screen

Samsung has made small changes to the design of the Galaxy S20 series this year compared to the Galaxy S10, such as a central hole, another camera layout, and a new, longer, narrower screen ratio. It seems that the company will continue with the new ratio in the Galaxy Note 20, albeit with a slight difference.

The device with the model name SM-N986U, which we believe corresponds to the Plus model of the upcoming Galaxy Note 20, appeared in HTML5test, where we learned some information about its screen. Initially, the company seems to be using a new screen ratio, slightly shorter than the Galaxy S20. The new ratio is 19.3: 9, a rather unusual aspect ratio, closer to 19: 9 of the Galaxy Note 10.

Also, the resolution of the top model remains the same as the Galaxy S20, ie 3200x1440p. But we already know that the most economical model in the series, or the simple Galaxy Note 20, will only have FHD + resolution. Of course, if Samsung decides to leave the same restrictions to activate the 120Hz refresh rate, then the owners of the Plus model will be left with the lowest resolution.

The larger aspect ratio of the Note 20+ will also mean a slight increase in screen inches, now reaching 6.87 inches, a small increase over the 6.8 inch Galaxy Note 10+. For those who want a bigger screen, don’t forget that at the same event we expect the Galaxy Fold 2, whose internal screen will be 7.7 inches.
