Google Sabrina: The features of the new Android TV dongle have been leaked

Google’s new streaming device made its first appearance on the internet a while ago. The code name of the Android TV dongle is Google Sabrina and the XDA Developers revealed its design and some features.

Design

In terms of design, Google Sabrina has an oval shape with the company’s logo in the center and the HDMI connection cable protruding from the top. In addition, the Android TV dongle will have a remote control with relatively conventional design and buttons for immediate activation of Google Assistant and access to YouTube and Netflix.

According to XDA Developers, the device will be available in three colors, gray, black, and pink. Also, although it is not visible in the images, it is expected to have USB Type-C.

Characteristics

According to XDA Developers, Google Sabrina will have a quad-core Amlogic S905X2 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and 2GB of RAM. The Android TV dongle will support 4Kp75 10-bit H.265 content-encoding, video output up to 4Kp60 from HDMI 2.1, HDR 10, HLG, Dolby Vision, and HDMI 2.1 Auto Low Latency Mode.

The company has added the ability of Auto Low Latency Mode because probably Google Sabrina is likely to support Google Stadia. This setting automatically activates the low latency Gaming Mode on any TV connected to the Android TV dongle, as long as it supports it.
