Fuchsia OS gets Bluetooth certification

The possible upcoming Google operating system Fuchsia OS has now taken another important step. The OS has received its Bluetooth certification.

Fuchsia can now use Bluetooth 5.0. The basis for this is the “Google Sapphire 1.0 Bluetooth Core Host Solution”, which has now been presented to the Bluetooth SIG. The corresponding certification was also granted.

For years now and then you have read something from Fuchsia, many see it as the official Android successor. If that’s true, it will be a while before Fuchsia takes over the helm.

However, the official certification shows that Google is apparently actually working on a publication of Fuchsia. Because this certification is not necessary for test purposes or even as a playground.
