Redmi A1+ gets FCC certification and is expected to debut soon

A Xiaomi smartphone called Redmi A1+ has appeared in the FCC and IMEI databases before its release. A so-called Redmi A1 passed multiple certifications last week, including IMEI certification, Geekbench, BIS and FCC, with 3GB of built-in memory and will be launched in multiple regions

Now, PriceBaba has spotted another Xiaomi smartphone in the FCC certification database. The phone has a model number of 220733SFG and takes the name of Redmi A1+. In addition, the FCC listing shows that the 220733SFG is also a model of the 220733SL, and it also confirms the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the 220733SFG (Redmi A1+).

Judging from the Geekbench database, the Redmi A1 is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 3GB of RAM, and the Redmi A1+ is expected to use the same MediaTek Helio A22 chip with larger RAM storage.

According to the FCC documents, the Redmi A1 and Redmi A1+ are both 164.67mm long and 76.56mm wide. Additionally, the device will run the Android 12 operating system, so it can be confirmed that both the A1 and A1+ are entry-level phones.
