One UI 3 beta for the Galaxy S20 series coming soon

Recently, the confirmation regarding the One UI 3.0 based on Android 10 was published by many tech sites. Now, the doubt has been cleared and according to the Samsung Beta manager in South Korea the One UI 3.0 beta based on Android 11 is coming soon for the Galaxy S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra 5G (unlocked device) and download link will available on the Samsung Member app soon.

Last year, the One UI beta testing for Galaxy S10 smartphone users was started in Korea, and soon after the rollout expended to the US and Germany. Following the same, we expect the rollout for One UI 3.0 will follow in the same manner.

The One UI 3 Beta Program is an opportunity to try One UI features before its official release. You will have to join the One UI 3.0 beta program through the Samsung Members app or Galaxy community. It may cause some malfunctions also some functions may not be available.

What’s new in One UI 3.0:

  • Redesigned Quick Settings/notification panel.
  • There is a new volume panel design.
  • Gallery of the lock screen, a home screen brings recent apps overview.
  • One UI 3.0 includes Bubbles and one-time permissions but doesn’t include features like Device Controls, Quick Access Wallet, Media Controls in the Quick Settings and more which is available in Android 11.
  • The Quick Access Wallet feature that lets you quickly change the current Google Pay card.
  • One UI 3.0 beta brings Bixby Routines improvement.
  • The Samsung Gallery app now lets you revert any edits you make, the Samsung Messages app added a Trash bin to store deleted messages, the Contacts app helps you quickly delete duplicated contacts and more.
  • Samsung Internet 13.0 is preloaded on One UI 3.0. It includes features like the ability to lock/reorder tabs, block pages from hijacking the back button, warnings about malicious sites, hiding the status bar when scrolling, and more.
