EMUI 11: Huawei’s Android 11 ROM will be released in the third quarter of 2020

Huawei may be experiencing various issues, but nothing is stopping it from growing. In addition to a host of new devices, the company is working to develop software and services. The latest news concerns the development of EMUI 11.

Nothing stops growth

At the moment, Huawei is gradually completing the development and availability of EMUI 10.1, which is based on the latest stable version of Google’s operating system for mobile devices, which is none other than Android 10.

However, developing any version of any operating system takes months to complete and several weeks of testing. That’s why Huawei is already working on the next version of its ROM, EMUI 11.EMUI 11 will be based on Android 11, which beta was recently launched by Google. There are already several companies dealing with the next version of Android and of course, Huawei is one of them.

The Chinese tech giant is working hard to complete EMUI 11, and according to Hangwei Consumer Business Software Department chairman Wang Chengdu, the ROM will be ready in the third quarter of 2020.

In particular, Wang Chenglu said that by September the company will introduce the EMUI 11, its new features, and all devices compatible with the operating system.
