Apple supplier plans to resume work in China on February 10

According to the latest information, Hon Hai Precision, Apple ’s main supplier in China, including the iPhone maker, still plans to resume mass production in China on February 10, although the new coronavirus has infected tens of thousands of people and has restricted travel.

Hon Hai is Apple’s most important manufacturer. According to a text message sent by Hon Hai to Bloomberg News, Hon Hai said on Tuesday that it still expected to resume work in China as planned. Suppliers such as Quanta, Inventec and LG Display Co. also said that production in China will resume next week.

An Apple spokesperson mentioned Apple CEO Cook’s statement last week that the company is closely monitoring developments in China and working closely with employees and partners in the region.
