Xiaomi smartphones with under-display cameras are coming next year

Xiaomi seems to have made the breakthrough with the development of the under-display camera. The first models for 2021 have now been announced.

For almost 2 years, various large manufacturers have been researching a camera under the display. Xiaomi was one of the first to introduce prototypes. But Samsung and Huawei have of course also been researching it diligently.

But there were many problems to be solved, so at the beginning, the quality of the pictures was more than bad. But this summer not only Xiaomi made the breakthrough with the under-display camera. With the Axon 20 5G, ZTE will present the first smartphone with the new camera technology in just a few days. In 2021 Xiaomi will start mass production of under-display cameras. In the meantime, the third generation of technology has arrived there, as a published video shows.
