The new Sony Xperia 1 II gets its first update. The latest June 2020 security patch called 58.0.A.3.31 is now available.

The new Sony flagship isn’t really available yet. Nevertheless, the day zero patch is now coming to the devices. The first update before the actual sales start.

The update is available for both the single SIM and dual SIM models. The rollout has already started and should then be shown to you as soon as you unpack it.

Changelog

Again there is no real changelog from Sony. Users seem to report that Wi-Fi calling has been added to them. There should be no more innovations.

So if you then own a Sony Xperia 1 II, you should check after unpacking whether he/she is already offered the update.
