Sony has multiple TV product lines, including the Z series with a resolution of up to 8K, and the more popular series, and OLED panel products have gradually become a new choice.
In order to promote its own TV, Sony recently launched an AR application for iOS and Android platforms, which allows consumers who intend to purchase Sony TV to use the application to determine the location of the TV at home.
At present, this Envision TV AR is already on the App Store and Google Play, but it is not currently available in the country. Due to the need to use ARKit, there are certain restrictions on the model, which requires iPhone 6S and above to run.
It is not the first time that routines to promote their own products through AR applications have appeared. Ikea and Wanna Kicks have launched similar applications before. I believe that with the development of AR, such applications will only increase.
