Samsung Galaxy S21 Series to be fueled by the Chinese manufacturers batteries

Recently, Samsung’s upcoming flagship the Galaxy S21 camera information has been leaked, and now the same source The Lec also published a report regarding the battery that the South Korean giant is going to use in the Galaxy S21 series.

As per the report, Samsung Electronics’ flagship model Galaxy S21 (unnamed) next year will be equipped with batteries from China’s ATL (Amperex Technology Limited, New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.). It will be used again in Samsung’s top smartphones after the Samsung Galaxy S9.

In the top Samsung’s flagship models the battery was used from the Samsung SDI and LG Chem which is mainly used as the ITM Semiconductor. In the past few years, ATL’s products for Samsung have mostly been the supply of batteries for low- and medium-end models such as the Galaxy A and M series. In addition to ATL, BYD is also a supplier of this series.

Amperex Technology Limited is mass-producing batteries for the Galaxy S21 series. Including products for the basic model Galaxy S21, advanced models Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The battery capacity includes 4000mAh, 4800mAh, and 5000mAh. This means that the battery capacity of the Galaxy S21+ model is slightly increased.
