Overwatch 2: Kiriko announced with a trailer, is a new Support character

During the course of the Xbox showcase of the Tokyo Game Show 2022, Kiriko was presented, a new hero of the type Support that will be available at the launch of Overwatch 2. At the head of the news, you will find a gameplay trailer that presents the skills of this new character.

As we can see from the video, Kiriko causes damage to opponents by throwing kunai, while giving heals to her companions using Japanese paper talismans. One of the two special abilities is to teleport short distances, even crossing obstacles such as walls.

The other, on the other hand, offers area heals and also makes companions invulnerable for a few seconds, an effect particularly useful for countering the opponent’s Ultimate. With her Ultimate, Kiriko summons a spiritual Kitsune that empowers all companions making them virtually unstoppable.

Kiriko will be one of the playable heroes present at the launch of Overwatch 2, set for October 4th on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
