OnePlus Open first foldable phone renders revealed by OnLeaks

OnePlus is all set to launch its new foldable phone (the first foldable phone) in the market very soon. Ahead of the official debut, the renders of the upcoming OnePlus are now officially shared by OnLeaks (via Smartprix).

As per the new renders images below, OnePlus is looking to change the camera design at the back side of the phone and the device is getting ready to compete with Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 phone.

The company will bring three camera sensors, including a periscope telephoto camera. There is also a new sensor, possibly a Time-of-Flight (ToF) or LiDAR sensor. The LED flash is positioned outside the camera island.

If we believe on the several popular Twitter tipster, the OnePlus foldable phone may bring a similar device like Oppo Find N2 in terms of ratio. The outer display has an 18:9 aspect ratio, whereas the inner foldable screen has an 8.4:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device will also launch with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The OnePlus foldable phone will pack a 4800mAh battery.

It is also likely to offer 67W fast charging support out-of-the-box. In terms of software, the device to boot on Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of Oxygen OS 13.1 on top.

The device will flaunt a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The foldable phone has a tiny hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the foldable display for the 20MP front camera. The cover screen has a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout for the 32MP secondary front camera.
