Short update for everybody who is waiting for the “Dark Crush” update for their OnePlus 8 Pro today. The rollout in Europe is postponed by one day.
The rollout of the “Dark Crush” update will be delayed to May 13th. No reasons were given, most likely a couple of inside things, so nothing awful.
The “Black Crush” display problem is a phenomenon in which videos are much more pixelated and less detailed in dark areas than on the rest of the display.
Then we can look forward to solving the problem tomorrow. It will be rolled out via OTA (over-the-air), presumably it will start during the day.
