OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro: OxygenOS Open Beta 15 available

OxygenOS Open Beta 15

The OxygenOS Open Beta 15 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro is now available for download. Here, too, the security patch from June 2020 finally comes to the devices.

With Open Beta 15, users of the two smartphones can now continue to test the software and go hunting for errors. The update is 143 MB, so WiFi is not absolutely necessary for the download. All testers get the update via OTA (over-the-air).

The changelog reveals that in addition to the new security patch, the new one-hand mode or dark mode Toggle in the notification bar is also on the devices.

  • Added the one-handed mode (To enable: Settings> Buttons & Gestures> Quick Gestures)
  • Added a shortcut to switch to Dark Mode in the notification bar (scroll down to enable)
  • Fixed the sharp edges of application cards in the recent apps screen
  • Fixed the screen flashing issue after locking the device
  • Updated OnePlus Brand Logo for a refreshed look
  • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.06

  • Bluetooth now complies with the hearing aid app connection under the Android 10 Audio Streaming for Hearing Aid (ASHA ) Agreement.

  • Refined the step counter’s accuracy for recording the movement

  • The frequently dialed contacts will now be available in the dialing interface

Note – The update should be ready for all users of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro in the next few hours.
