Intel: Stop chip shipments to the world’s third largest server manufacturer

The ban brought by the US government may have a huge impact on Chinese companies, with the best-known example being Huawei, but the losses are negligible, hitting US companies that cannot supply anything to its specific companies.

The decision to exclude Chinese companies from the United States includes 20 companies. These include Inspur, the world’s third-largest server maker. The Pentagon believes that Inspur is directly cooperating with the Chinese military and that US companies are not allowed to trade with it. But the big loser in the case seems to be Intel, which will no longer be able to supply Inspur based on the above decision. Huawei, on the other hand, has no such problem, with Inspur continuing to supply the company’s ARM-based chips normally, creating even more horror for Intel.

The announcement of Intel:

“We will temporarily suspend shipments to one of our customers to ensure compliance with US export regulations. This is a temporary break that is expected to last less than two weeks for some items, while others will continue in a few days. We will continue our missions as soon as possible while ensuring that we comply with US law”.

Chinese media report that Intel has already found a way to supply Inspur by making some adjustments to its supply chain. But until further notice is given by the company itself, we keep this update as a rumor.
