Huawei presents its own desktop with 100% Chinese hardware and software

Can the Huawei is still at war with the US government, the ban still keeps a year and prevent the company from doing business with US companies, but it seems not to give up and even preparing to become completely independent?

In an effort to show how independent it can really be, Huawei has introduced its own desktop PC, whose components are made up only of Chinese hardware. To achieve this, the company used its own ARM-based processor, Kunpeng 920, which is octa-core at 2.6GHz and manufactured using the 7nm method. The processor comes with 16GB of DDR4-2666 RAM from Kingston and Yeston RX550 graphics card. The motherboard that uses the desktop is Huawei’s D920S10, which has 6 SATA III ports, two M.2 disk ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB 3.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI. For storage, this PC will be released with a 256GB SSD. As an operating system, Huawei has built its own 64-bit Linux-based OS.

According to the video, Huawei’s PC is expected to cost around 1,130 USD. What we’re seeing right now is a prototype and not the end product, with YouTuber talking about performance issues, non-support for 32-bit applications, and problematic streaming in 4K resolution. Anyway, Huawei seems ready to leave everything behind and become truly independent.
