According to the latest, HTC has launched a firmware update for the latest VIVE Focus 3, which greatly improves its hand-tracking function.
HTC said that the firmware version 3.0.999.284 significantly improved the performance, stability and accuracy of hand tracking . HTC’s Vive Focus 3 introduced hand tracking as early as July, allowing users to use their hands as a controller.
HTC said that through this software engine upgrade, this VR headset will be able to track fast hand movements more easily and more accurately recognize two-finger zoom gestures .
HTC has opened the hand tracking function to developers. Developers can integrate the six current predefined gestures of the headset into VR applications. HTC said it will add more gestures in the future.
