Files by Google getting the latest version 1.0.33 update it brings new features in the default file manager, enhanced video speed, and playback controls – reports XDA.

If you watch any video online there will be one option that appears under the upper-right three-dot menu, giving you the ability to adjust playback speed options from 0.5 to 2x.

I think this is the good feature providing by the officials because its missing from other Google-built in-app video players such as Google Photos and even Google Drive. At least now you’ll have more fine control over video playback when you update to Files by Google version 1.0.33. It appears as a scrollable horizontal click wheel with 0.5, 0.8. 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0x speed playback options.

In the latest update user will also see a dedicated PDF viewer that has joined the file manager. Previously you would have to use an external application to view PDFs when using Files by Google. You will watch a pop-up that will give you the option to view a PDF file natively within Files by Google as part of the 1.0.33 update.

According to the report, this update has been already out via the Google Play Store and has been available for the past few days.
