Samsung’s upcoming smartphone from the Galaxy S series called Galaxy S21 key camera specifications leaked by TheElec.  According to the information the Galaxy S21 features a quad-camera setup consist of 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 180MP wide sensor, 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a periscope type telephoto lens with over 5x optical zoom. Also, the selfie camera of the device will be upgraded to 40MP.

For now, we don’t have more information regarding the Galaxy S21 series but in the upcoming days, we will soon hear something regarding the core specifications. The biggest difference from the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the top model in the Galaxy S20 series released in the first half of this year, is that the ToF module is removed and a 3x optical zoom telephoto is added.

The 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, 180 million-pixel MP wide-angle, and a 40-MP selfie of the remaining rear cameras are the same as the Galaxy S20 Ultra in terms of pixels.

Samsung Electronics removed ToF from the Galaxy Note 20 series in the second half of this year. ToF was excluded from the existing model because it was less utilized and the function was less than the Apple method.
