Apple website updated the iPhone user manual to confirm that the compass no longer displays information

Apple’s official website has made its change in the iPhone user manual section, confirming that the compass in iOS 15.1 no longer displays coordinates, altitude, and other information.

Among them, the description before the update is: view the bearing, coordinates, altitude,  the bearing, coordinates, altitude is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

After the update, this description was deleted and only displayed as view direction. The screenshots of the App page given in the iPhone user manual also intuitively reflect that the coordinates and altitude information originally located at the bottom has been removed.

In addition, the manual also shows that the ability to open the location in the Map App by tapping the coordinates at the bottom of the screen has also been removed. In the official version of Apple iOS 15.1, Apple has also added a simulcast sharing function, adding the ability to shoot ProRes videos for users of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models.
