Samsung applied for a new trademark

According to letgodigital, Samsung has recently approved a trademark that may be used to add an antibacterial coating on the smartphone protective cover to be launched to combat common virus particles including the new coronavirus Attached to the phone case.

It is reported that the trademark is called “Antimicrobial Coating”, and has submitted applications in many countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland, and the description of the trademark is: “Sleeve and case for smartphones and tablets”. In addition, the corresponding graphic in the trademark is shown in the figure above, consisting of a cross shield and three virus patterns. The spread of the new coronavirus can be spread by human particles as well as virus particles that are attached to objects. Studies have shown that antibacterial coatings can effectively resist the absorption and spread of new coronavirus within 90 days. The report pointed out that for the surface treated with antibacterial coating, the virus will be reduced by 90% after 10 minutes and by 99.9% after 2 hours.
