EMUI 11 is releasing at HDC (Huawei Developer Conference) this month ahead of that Huawei P40 Pro received EMUI 11 WiFi certification and this is the first device to grab EMUI 11 certifications.
Last month, a Huawei phone with EMUI 11 firmware and model name ELS-N04 (P40 Pro) received Wi-Fi 6 certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Huawei will introduce EMUI 11 on September 10th at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020 and it will be launched along with HarmonyOS and HMS Core 5.0.
Following the launch, Huawei will open the internal beta for the Huawei P40 series with limited testers. The Huawei Mate 40 series will be the first to appear with this latest EMUI version.
According to information so far, EMUI 11 will contain many new changes in the Always-on-Display (AOD) design, multi-window multitasking, and other interesting features.
