According to WMPU, Spotify has now launched a new feature, users can search for songs by lyrics. This feature was previously available on the Spotify desktop app and is now available on both iOS and Android apps. Spotify today also announced the launch of the Spotify Weekly Music Chart, which is a new way for artists and their fans to celebrate milestones on Spotify.
What’s New:
- The Weekly Top 50 will celebrate the world’s largest albums and tracks every Friday to Thursday, including the US Weekly Album Chart, Global Weekly Album Chart, US Weekly Song Chart, and Global Weekly Song Chart released every Monday.
- The top ten debuts in the United States and the top ten worldwide release lists include the most played new songs on Spotify from Friday to Sunday. These charts contain data from the 72 hours before the song or album goes live, providing exciting early information for new music.
