During the latest meeting with shareholders, Michał Nowakowski, SVP of business development, confirmed again that Phantom Liberty will be the first and also the last expansion of Cyberpunk 2077, but also added that the Polish company has big plans for the future. of the brand and not only with regard to video games.

“On the question of further expansions for Cyberpunk, we have decided to develop one big expansion that will take advantage of all the capabilities of the next generation consoles,” said Nowakowski.

“That said, we are fully committed to further developing the Cyberpunk IP beyond this particular expansion. We have put a lot of energy and time into making this franchise, and we absolutely want to continue building on what we have achieved so far with new stories,” experiences, and content, not only in videogame format but on this point, I won’t add anything else. So in terms of expansions, there will be only one major expansion (for Cyberpunk 2077), however, there will be news in the future. ”

CD Projekt RED also revealed that they are working on two triple-A games at the same time, one of which is the new The Witcher. The other is still shrouded in mystery and as far as we know it could be a new Cyberpunk. To find out, however, we will probably have to wait a long time.
