Assassin’s Creed: 4 games and a DLC will be announced at the Ubisoft Forward

Tom Henderson has published a new report dedicated to Assassin’s Creed and the news that should be unveiled at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022. According to what has been indicated, there will be 4 games, to which a DLC will be added. Also, there should be an additional project that may not be shown at the event.

Specifically, the Assassin’s Creed games that will be shown during the Ubisoft Forward should be according to Tom Henderson:

  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage (already officially announced)
  • Assassin’s Creed Project Red (Giappone)
  • Assassin’s Creed Project Hexe (Europa centrale)
  • Assassin’s Creed Project Jade (China, mobile game)
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC
  • Assassin’s Creed Project Nexus (VR, but it is unknown if it will be shown)

As for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it’s the game that Ubisoft has already officially announced and that we know will be shown for sure at the Ubisoft Forward event.

Turning instead to Assassin’s Creed Red, it seems that this is one of the games that will be part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the live-service project of the Ubisoft saga. It will be an ambient game in Japan, a location much awaited by fans: Henderson would have seen an artwork showing a samurai-style assassin, but he believes that players will likely be able to choose between a male and a female character.

Assassin’s Creed Hexe, formerly known as Project Neo, should instead be in development at Ubisoft Montreal and should be the darkest game in the saga. This too should be a part of the Infinity project. The setting is supposed to be the era of 16th-century witch hunts in Europe. Henderson says this is one of the more interesting projects.

Assassin’s Creed Jade should instead be a mobile game set in China, an area already exploited for a previous 2D chapter of the saga. There should then be a new DLC for Valhalla. Finally, there should be a project for VR, but Henderson doesn’t know if it will be shown at the event.

We remind you that we are only talking about rumors for now, not official information. Furthermore, it is possible that not all games are actually shown at the event, even if they actually exist.
