Xiaomi to release Mi 10 series on March 27

Xiaomi will hold an online event of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro international editions on March 27. The specific time will be broadcast at 6:30 PM Central Standard Time, and it is expected to land in India and other markets quickly.

Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, the Barcelona Mobile World Congress (MWC 2020), which was originally scheduled to be held in late February, was forced to cancel. Many manufacturers have disrupted the new smartphone launch plan. The highly anticipated new Mi 10 series is also in this way.

Last week, 91Mobiles had exclusively revealed the storage and color matching options of the Mi 10 Indian version, and earlier the Chinese version was sold out within minutes of opening the first batch of pre-orders.

It is reported that the first scheduled sales of Mi 10 are about 50,000 units, and Mi 10 Pro is about 40,000 units. Both models use Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G flagship SoC.

The sides of the screen have unique curved edges. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen supports FHD + resolution, HDR10 +, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

In terms of storage, Mi 10/Mi 10 Pro can choose 8GB/12GB RAM, up to 256GB/512GB ROM.

The main difference between the two models is the rear camera. The Mi 10 uses a 108-megapixel main camera + 13MP super wide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth perception.

The Mi 10 Pro is a combination of 108MP main camera + 8MP telephoto with 10X hybrid optical zoom + 2MP optical zoom with 12MP telephoto + 20MP ultra-wide angle.

In addition, both models use a design with a hole in the upper left corner of the screen (20MP sensor), supplemented by 30W wireless fast charging + 5W reverse wireless charging.

The Mi 10’s battery has a capacity of 4780 mAh and supports 30W wired fast charging. The Mi 10 Pro has a built-in 4500 mAh battery and supports a higher 50W wired fast charging.

The new Xiaomi 10 series supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless network. Mi 10 can record 8K @ 30fps video, Mi 10 Pro even supports FHD slow shooting at 120/240/960 frame rate.
