WhatsApp desktop 2.2201.2.0 Beta version is testing Win11

Here we are getting a piece of new information from Neowin, last November many sites reported that WhatsApp is developing a new desktop application, available through the Microsoft Store.

It was reported at the time that the app was based on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), not Electron, and also packaged e-ink and multi-device support. It now appears that the development team is moving to WinUI 2.6 and newer to take advantage of the fluid design elements in Windows 11.

WhatsApp beta app for Windows 11 is definitely in the works. You will notice circular radio buttons, drop-down menus, and more elements that conform to the Windows 11 design language.

The beta version of WhatsApp, downloaded from the Microsoft Store, is available on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, but users will need to join the beta for multi-device support in order to continue using it.
