watchOS 7 bug: Some Apple Watch S3 users report crashes and shutdowns issue

Recently, we reported about the issue of GPS problem in the Apple Watch while installing the latest watchOS 7. When recording an exercise, only the starting point is recorded. Now, according to a new report, Apple Watch Series 3 users now facing the crash and shut down issues on watchOS 7.

The boot version update of a new operating system usually brings some initial problems, which are usually fixed in subsequent updates. For watchOS 7, it seems that Apple Watch Series 3 has suffered the “biggest” trouble.

Some of the users from the community stated that Series 3 facing the stability issue of watchOS 7 on their devices. Common complaints include silent crashes and restarts, and battery drain issues.

Other users mentioned being forced to reset their Apple Watch to install watchOS, and slowly loading complex features after restarting.

For now, Apple is currently testing a beta update for watchOS 7.1, but it is more likely to release a smaller incremental update to fix the bug first.
