After many rumors and leaks now finally we have the launch date of the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus has now confirmed that the OnePlus 8T will launch on October 14th in an online-only live-streamed event at 10 AM EST on this URL. More details will be shared over on the official OnePlus Forums, website, and other social channels. The event tagline this time is “Ultra Stops at Nothing.”
According to the previous news, we can hope this year’s Oneplus smartphone series will bring a new change, and also we will see the T-series OnePlus handset is expected to exclude a “Pro” variant.
The OnePlus 8T is expected to launch with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 120Hz refresh rate display will include a very Samsung-like camera array, and it will potentially come with 65W charging as standard. The heavily One UI-inspired OxygenOS 11 is also set to come pre-installed, which hints at a very different OnePlus compared to what we have seen in recent years.
According to sources so far, the quad-camera OnePlus 8T will consist of the main sensor 48MP, 16MP ultra-wide, 5MP for macro shooting, and 2MP for a portrait. The selfie camera of the device is expected to be upgraded to 32MP.
