Twitter: Stops supporting iPhone running iOS 11 or earlier

At some point, companies and developers abandon older versions of operating systems. Of course, mobile OS is no exception. That’s why Twitter leaves iOS 11 behind once and for all.

More and more companies are abandoning iOS 11

Recently, Twitter updated the history of the release notes of its application in the Apple App Store. Mostly, there is nothing remarkable, but one of the information cannot go unnoticed.

In particular, the social networking platform noted that from now on its application for iPhone will not be compatible with iOS 11 and all older versions of the Apple operating system. So those who want to use the Twitter application, should upgrade their smartphone operating system to at least version 12 . If the upgrade is not possible, then you should consider purchasing a newer device.

Apple may already have iOS 13.5.1 available on the iPhone, but until the release of iOS 14, those with iPhone 5s and later can easily upgrade to iOS 12. So, there’s no specific reason why do not upgrade.
