Sony is updating its two current smartphone models, Xperia 1 and Xperia 5, with a new firmware update that adds the Android security patches from March 1, 2020.
This makes Sony one of the first manufacturers to provide its models with the latest security patch. As always, there is, unfortunately, no changelog, so you cannot say exactly what has been changed.
For Sony Xperia 1, the new firmware has the designation 55.1.A.3.107, for Sony Xperia 5 the designation is 55.1.A.3.112. The size of the update is unknown.
In the next few days, the March 2020 update for the Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 should arrive at all users. And as always here, don’t forget to save your personal data beforehand.
