Samsung will offer “up to three generations of upgrades” to its flagships

One of the biggest problems of the Android platform is the manufacturers’ updates, as Google gives three major upgrades to the Pixel series devices, but almost all the other manufacturers stay at two. As it turns out, Samsung is taking the big step.

At the end of yesterday Unpacked 2020, there was a promise from the company that will delight the owners of its devices. As announced by Samsung, the company promises to offer upgrades to the OS of its devices “up to three generations“, starting with the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. However, a little later we learned that the company will also support the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series, thanks to the XDA-Developers, so they are also expected to receive up to “three generations of upgrades”.In what would become a series A of the company is another matter, as the company has not made an announcement over the rest of the series. The above announcement concerns the devices of the S, Note, and Z series. Also, the question remains unanswered whether the tablets of the companies will be included, such as the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 + that were announced yesterday.
