Samsung has officially rolling out the May 2020 security patch update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + smartphone users in Germany. The latest update brings version number G96xFXXS9DTD7.
A changelog is not yet available, presumably, in addition to the new security level, the patch for the major Samsung vulnerability when dealing with MMS is also included.
The security patch for May 2020 brings fixes for 9 critical vulnerabilities discovered in Android and for dozens of high and medium risk vulnerabilities. In addition to these fixes, the update brings fixes for 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), the vulnerabilities discovered in Samsung’s own software.
Note – Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + May 2020 patch will be send to users in waves. So it may take a little while for some to get something.
