Samsung is expected to report ($54.5 billion) strong Q3 2020 earnings

According to a new report, Samsung to show sales of KRW 63.95 trillion (around $54.5 billion) in the July-September 2020 quarter. If it goes well, the company will post 3.1% higher sales than Q3 2019.

Samsung’s operating profit for Q3 2020 is estimated to be KRW 10.4 trillion (around $8.86 billion), which would be a whopping 33.7% rise over the same quarter last year.

It is being reported that the South Korean tech giant could show even better financial results for Q3 2020 due to new chip orders. That would be an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the third quarter of 2019. The operating profit is even said to have increased by 33.7 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year to 8.86 billion US dollars.

As compared to the 2nd quarter of 2020, sales will have increased by 20.7 percent and profits by 27.6 percent. Also the big new we believe is that Samsung will have shipped around 80 million devices in the 3rd quarter of 2020. That would be an increase of 50 percent compared to the 2nd quarter of this year. Moreover, tablet sales are estimated to reach 10 million units, a 45% rise over the previous quarter.
