Samsung Galaxy Fold won the “Best Screen of the Year” award

Samsung’s first folding screen smartphone product released last year, the Galaxy Fold, uses an internal and external OLED dual-screen design. The outside of the fuselage is a 4.6-inch small screen and the inside is a 7.3-inch large screen. Although the release time of this product has been postponed repeatedly, its revolutionary folding screen design and excellent screen display effect have made many consumers willing to pay for it. Recently, Samsung Galaxy Fold won the Display Industry Award (DIA) award from the International Information Display Society, which is one of the most influential awards in the field of modern display technology.

The DIA jury said, “With a high-resolution screen, pure color gamut, and a professional four-expanded graphics array standard, and a peak brightness of up to 600 candelas per square meter, the Galaxy Fold is undoubtedly an excellent display technology for Samsung’s screen works.”

Galaxy Fold, therefore, won the DIA “Best Screen of the Year” award, along with Apple’s Pro Display XDR and BOE’s 65-inch ultra-high-definition BD Cell display.

All along, Samsung has become a frequent visitor to the DIA Awards due to its powerful screen display. Whether the Galaxy Fold is an innovative folding screen design or the quality of the screen itself, it has demonstrated Samsung’s dominance in the field of screen displays for ten years.

There are rumors that the successor of the Galaxy Fold will be officially released in early August, with improvements in screen size and refresh rate, and this product will likely continue to improve the level of foldable mobile display screens.
