According to letgodigital, Samsung has recently approved a trademark that may be used to add an antibacterial coating on the smartphone protective cover to be launched to combat common virus particles including the new coronavirus Attached to the phone case.
It is reported that the trademark is called “Antimicrobial Coating”, and has submitted applications in many countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland, and the description of the trademark is: “Sleeve and case for smartphones and tablets”. In addition, the corresponding graphic in the trademark is shown in the figure above, consisting of a cross shield and three virus patterns.
