Redmi 7 with 48 MP camera set to arrive on the 10th of January.
We have been hearing a lot about the new Xiaomi phones for quite some time and the rumors are finally getting close to becoming a reality. The company is set to release their Redmi 7 series on January 10 and it would have a 48 MP camera.
The teaser appeared both on the official website of Xiaomi and on their Redmi account on Weibo. It said "new independent brand", which meant that Redmi is taking the Honor and Realme way and it will become a brand of its own, while it would still share most of the R&D facilities and manufacturing plants as the mother company.
Also, we can see the shadow of the “Redmi” sign that says 4800, which is clearly moving towards the 48 MP teaser from last month. The event will take place in Beijing and will start at 14:00 local time. We also expect to see at least one device called Xiaomi Redmi 7, but we also know that there might be more iterations, like Redmi 7 Pro, Redo 7A,Redmi Note 7 Pro and other typical combos.
However, If the phone is indeed coming with the rumored 48 MP sensor, there is the possibility that we would see Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, a new iteration of the dual-cam Redmi Pro that was released in the summer of 2016. It was one of the very first devices to introduce real-time bokeh mode, along with quite a good primary snapper.
