Lexar delivers first its 1TB SDXC card that beats pioneer SanDisk hands down.

Lexar has declared its 1TB SD card that is scheduled to go on sale and although there has been no official information as to when it would be released and for how much.

The 1TB 633x SDXC UHS-I card as it is called, is not a technical marvel, being only UHS-I instead of the faster II but it still manages to top out at a read speed of 95 MB/s, which makes it a really great choice for 4K and high-speed 1080p video or fast RAW capture.

SanDisk initially announced the first 1TB SD card way back in 2016 but that card will forever and seemingly remain a prototype whereas Lexar say their card is going on sale.
