Let's talk surgeries!

Gone were the days people only went under the knife to save their lives. These days we now have methods of altering our looks. These surgeries are now used to fix physical features and the rest.

Still, there are also people who have an obsession and completely take it over the top with obsession with looking like other creatures and even aliens. Whether this helps them love themselves more or looking in the mirror just becomes easier is apparent. Here are some people who have taken surgeries to a new heights throughout the years.

This 37 year old man underwent extreme facial surgery to look like the Marvel villain "Red Skull." Henry Damon not only had facial surgery, but he also underwent subdermal implant operations, tattooed his eyeballs and his face, and lopped off the tip of his nose.

He said he dreamed of being Red Skull since he was a young child, stemming from his love of comics and in particular, Captain America. (Red Skull is the Nazi arch-nemesis Captain America, and first appeared following the second World War in 1947.) Hopefully Marvel would have a role for him in the next Captain America film.

Vinny Ohh

In an interview for Barcroft TV last year, Ohh said he has had three surgeries and 110 procedures. Make-up artist Vinny Ohh is completely out of this world as he wants to have his genitals removed to become a genderless alien.

Despite having already gone under the knife on multiple occasions, Vinny wants to push his plastic surgery journey even further with a procedure that no man or woman has ever had before. ‘I’m looking to have gender unassignment. I’m looking to change my genitals so that way there is nothing there – it will just be a hole to pee out of. I want my genitals removed because life would be easier. I’m also celibate. Me being celibate is my way to be at peace with myself and my body on this process.’ Vinny explained.

Lacey Wildd

Lacey Wildd wants the title of world's biggest breasts as she readies herself for a 13th session of cosmetic surgery on her knockers, with monster boobs big enough to take your eyes out, you'd think Lacey Wild had seen enough of the surgeon's knife for one lifetime.

However, even after twelve boob jobs, bum implants, liposuction and nose and chin augmentation, Lacey Wildd is ready to go back to the operating table. And this time the curvy blonde whose current assets weigh a whopping 21lbs each, and can barely run – is ready to pump up her lady lumps to a Q cup size with her 37th operation.

The real-life Barbie, 47, also revealed she has been living on an extreme diet of apples, lemon juice and water to get herself bikini ready for the beach. This mum of six, from West Virginia, said: "I feel really good but I still think I need to lose more weight. I want to go down to a size three or even a zero," she said

Jocelyn Wildenstein, a Swiss-born New York City socialite in her mid-60s or early 70s, boasts a shocking catlike visage that’s the stuff of nightmarish legend. The story behind Wildenstein’s multimillion-dollar plastic surgery habit is a somewhat sad one. Reportedly, her marriage to the late art collector and businessman Alec Wildenstein was unhappy. To keep the marriage afloat and to keep her husband’s wandering eye fixed on her and her, she decided to become one of the things that gave her husband great pleasure—a large jungle cat. And as the story goes, well, he still ended up leaving her.

Dennis Avner

Avner has undergone countless body-modifying procedures since 1980 to become more like his totem animal, the tiger. The surgeries include nose and brow implants, several silicone injections, a lip-splitting surgery, a procedure to give him pointy ears and a whole lot of tattoos. Stalking Cat as his name means, has also had all of his teeth removed and replaced with fanged dentures and has 18 piercings above his lip that he can attach whiskers to.

You is the new you.

A while back, people seeking cosmetic surgery would bring pictures of celebrities to their doctor, and ask for “Angelina Jolie's lips,” “Kate Beckinsale's nose” or “Kim Kardashian's butt.” But now people bring their selfies that have been filtered through Instagram.

This is a huge trend as people are bringing in pictures of themselves taken at a favorite angle or filtered, and saying they want to look like that.”

These women aren't alone. Midtown plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer claims to have entertained clients who plead for a “social-media makeover” every day. Are the days of Photoshop drawing to a close?
