Huawei fines two of their employees for tweeting for the company from an iPhone

Allegedly, two employees composed a New Year tweet and posted it from the company account with an iPhone.

Bloomberg gave a report that stated that the company put the blame on their social media agency that was located overseas social but still decided to punish two employees from their marketing department. The employees were given a fine which included a CNY5,000 (about $700), a single-level demotion and they also got blocked from any predetermined promotions for a year. 

The internal memo, as declared by Bloomberg News, one of the two employees was actually the head of the digital marketing team. All the employees were also scolded with a message saying the company had to tighten their management of suppliers and partners and that the incident managed to expose the flaws in their processes and management.
