Google Rolls Out New Feature To Prevent Text Message Spamming
Spamming is a big problem these days, almost every day we get messages about various offers and much more, it keeps our phone ringing the whole day. But now the tech giant Google has started rolling out spam protection feature for messages. After developing is for more than half a year, Google is making this feature live though not everyone can have it right now.
According to android police, several users were getting a prompt saying "New! Spam Protection" whenever the user opens the message app. according to the report "The change appears to be server-side and in a limited rollout for the time being, as other devices, we've tested, including my own, don't have it just yet. When it does hit your device, you should see a notification similar to that above when launching Messages,"
After this feature enabled user will also be able to disable the protection feature from the settings. Google has also announced that the company is working towards shifting message to the web, that means that once the feature launched user will be able to use messages from other devices too.
