Nokia has officially announced the Android 11 roadmap for the eligible Nokia smartphones. According to the official Tweet, there are total of 14 smartphones that will be upgraded to Android 11, but the tweet was deleted quickly, probably due to some wrong dates mentioned.
Here are the eligible devices and rollout information:
- Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 8.1 (Q42020, Q12021)
- Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 3.4, Nokia 2.3 (Q1 2021)
- Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2, Noia 6.2 (Q1-Q2 2021)
- Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 9 PureView (Q2 2021)
Apart from the above-mentioned device, we will see three more smartphones, which will be announced later this year. Some phones like Nokia 7 Plus are out of the game, but those devices will still be receiving security patches in 2021.
The latest features available in Android 11 are Chat Bubbles, Conversations Improvement, More Secure Privacy, A New Music Control System, Enhanced Notifications Panel, New Changes for Android Auto, One-time Permissions, and more.
