The organization has conceded that it is stopping production of the Xbox One S All Digital and the more impressive Xbox One X, which has been available for just over two years. In any case, the creation of the more vulnerable Xbox One S will proceed ordinarily, in any event until some other time.

The official announcement:

At Xbox, we are investing heavily in shaping the future of gaming, a future that puts the player at the heart of the Xbox experience. We continue to create great games for Xbox One. We continue to shape Game Pass, now with more than 10 million members on Xbox and PC.

We have started the preview of Project xCloud in 15 countries so that players can play games with their friends from any device. We’re also working hard on the next generation of consoles with the Xbox Series X, the fastest, most powerful console we’ve ever built, which includes compatibility with thousands of Xbox games and all Xbox One accessories.

As we move forward with the Xbox Series X, we take the natural step of stopping the production of the Xbox One X and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. The Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold worldwide. Players can contact local retailers for more details on Xbox One availability.
