Lei Jun said: “The single-core performance of the Snapdragon 865 is as high as 934 points, which is 20% higher than that of its friends. The friends are only comparable to the Snapdragon 855 Plus. The overall performance of the Snapdragon 865 is 3464 points, which is also far ahead. It’s the ARM A76, a generation later. ”
Compared with A76, A77 improves performance by 20% under the same power consumption:
1. The first has multiple branch instruction execution units, the branch instruction execution unit is twice the A76;
2. Double branch prediction bandwidth;
3. Branch target buffer increased by 33%;
4. 50% increase in instruction distribution bandwidth;
5. Out-of-order execution window increased by 25%;
6. Add the fourth ALU.
