It is reported that Samsung will release the Galaxy S20 fan version

Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite at the end of last year, this is a “shrinkable version” flagship device. Samsung generally does not release this model, but Samsung said at the time that this phone would allow more users to experience some of the features offered by its flagship machine at a lower price.

Naturally, many users want to know whether Samsung will release a similar version for the Galaxy S20 model. According to the confirmation of foreign media Sammobile, yes, the new version of the Galaxy S20 is about to be launched and will replace the Galaxy S Lite series.

According to sources, new variants of the Galaxy S20 are under development, with models SM-G780 (Global) and SM-G781 (United States).

This phone is called the Galaxy S20 fan version internally, and there will be three versions. The SM-G780 will be available worldwide, with 5G and 4G versions, and the SM-G781 will only provide the 5G version.

The detailed specifications of this phone are not clear, but foreign media said that the machine will have at least 128GB of internal storage space, will run the Android 10 system, using One UI 2.5.

Samsung fans will definitely hope that the new Galaxy S20 variant can learn from the Galaxy S10 Lite in terms of processors. Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Lite shipped worldwide is equipped with the Snapdragon 855, which is the same as the Galaxy S10 series in some markets. Therefore, it can be expected that the Galaxy S20 fan version of the processor will not shrink and will use the Snapdragon 865.

Foreign media also said that there is reason to believe that Samsung may not call this new device the Galaxy S20 Lite and may launch it as a fan version of the Galaxy S20.
