iPhones with Fortnite pre-installed sell for thousands of dollars

Following the war between Fortnite and Apple and Google, the two companies decided to remove Fortnite from the App Store and Play Store.

Android users have been affected, but they can download the APK file of the game from the official Epic website or from anywhere they can find it.

iOS users, however, have no other way to download the game, as Apple does not allow the installation of applications outside the App Store. The result is that those who did not have the game installed can no longer download it.

But somewhere there the paranoia begins, with the BusinessInsider website making a major breakthrough on eBay.

As one can see from a search, users started selling iPhones with Fortnite pre-installed for thousands of dollars. A quick search will find hundreds of sale ads, ranging in price from $ 1,000 to $ 10,000.

What is even more strange is that not only are these auctions available, but people are also interested in making offers to buy the products.

Of course, there are more down-to-earth proposals, with prices as much as the respective iPhone and a little more for the game. We have seen similar incidents in the past. When the then-popular Flappy Bird game came down from the App Store, users were selling devices that had it installed.

Also, when the release of Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills was canceled and the PT was removed from the PlayStation Store, we saw ads for PlayStation 4 with this demo installed.
