Intel i7-1165G7 latest running score, CPU tied 25W R7 4700U

Broke the news @_rogame compared the latest Intel i7-1165G7 processor and AMD 25W R7 4700U 3DMark running points.

As shown in the figure above, in the 3DMark TimeSpy test project, Intel’s i7-1165G7 overall leads AMD’s R7 4700U. The CPU running scores of the two are basically the same, but the i7-1165G7’s core display running score is 35.6% higher than the R7 4700U.

The R7 4700U is 8 cores and 8 threads, 2.0-4.1 GHz, and the core display is Vega 7, and the tester said the test TDP is 25W. In addition, it was reported that Intel’s unreleased i7-1165G7 TDP reached 28W, but it is still 4 cores and 8 threads, and the test frequency is 2.8-4.7GHz.

From this comparison, it can be found that due to the increased frequency of the i7-1165G7, it is possible to tie the R7 4700U with the same number of threads in 3DMark, but the performance of the Vega 7 core is significantly behind that of Intel’s Xe core.
